Work consisted of stripping and repainting the body, retrimming the interior, rewiring the car, overhauling the suspension and brakes, installing a GM Performance Parts 350ci V8, rebuilding the transmission, and replacing the glass, air conditioning system, seals, and weatherstripping. Finished in Bright Blue over black vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Safe-T-Track limited-slip differential. Equipment includes removable t-top roof panels, 15â³ snowflake alloy wheels, power steering, power windows, an Alpine CD stereo, and air conditioning. The weatherstripping, seals, decals, and glass were replaced during the refurbishment. The passenger door handle is cracked. The 15â³ snowflake-style alloy wheels are mounted with 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The vehicle is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The steering, suspension, and brakes were overhauled during the refurbishment. The bolstered front bucket seats and rear bench were retrimmed in black vinyl which extends to the door panels. Amenities include an engine-turned dash fascia, a full-length center console, an Alpine CD stereo, power windows, and air conditioning.
