Powered by a replacement 257ci inline-eight mated to a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission, the car is finished in black with a black convertible top over black and blue upholstery. Other equipment includes hubcaps, whitewall tires, fender skirts, a top boot, power windows, robe cords, a push-button AM radio, turn signals, and a Carter carburetor. This car was disassembled, and the body was removed from the frame and placed on a rotisserie before being refinished in black during the aforementioned refurbishment. The chrome was replated, the stainless trim was polished, and the weatherstripping, the glass, and the top boot were replaced. The convertible top received replacement canvas, and the top irons were disassembled, media-blasted, and repainted. Body-color 15″ wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings and are fitted with Coker Classic whitewall tires. The braking system was refurbished by stripping and repainting the backing plates, turning the drums, and replacement of the hoses, wheel cylinders, shoes, master cylinder, and emergency-brake cables. The front and rear bench seats have been reupholstered in black leather and blue cloth. Appointments include power windows, a heater, turn signals, a push-button AM radio, and a clock plus robe cords for rear occupants. The four-spoke steering wheel has a trim ring and frames a 110-mph speedometer as well as supplementary instrumentation for coolant temperature, fuel level, amperage, and oil pressure.
