This 1973 Jensen Interceptor Mk III was cosmetically and mechanically refurbished during a multi-year project completed approximately nine years ago in Europe. Additional equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, pop-out rear quarter windows, and a Kenwood CD stereo with a retractable screen. The Interceptor was styled by Carrozzeria Touring of Italy. Electrical repairs for its door locks, exterior lighting, and battery were completed in December 2023. Installed over four-wheel disc brakes, the 15″ alloy wheels wear 205/70 Nexen SB-702 tires. The four-passenger cabin was re-trimmed with brown leather upholstery and replacement carpeting during the refurbishment. Appointments include air conditioning, an analog clock, electric windows, wood trim, and a Kenwood CD stereo with a retractable screen and GPS navigation capability. A Moto-Lita steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation, and a suite of auxiliary instruments are located in the center stack. The steering column bushing was replaced in 2023, and the tachometer and climate-control blower motor were repaired. The 440ci Chrysler V8 was overhauled in 2011 with work that included honing the block, reconditioning the cylinder heads, installing hardened exhaust valve seats, and replacing its wiring harness.
