This 1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint was delivered new through Hoffman Motor Car Company in New York, and underwent a multi-year refurbishment between 2010 and 2013. Work involved repainting the body, reupholstering the cabin, and replacing various interior and exterior trim components in addition to rebuilding the twin-cam inline-four with a 1. 4-liter displacement kit, installing a five-speed manual transmission, and overhauling the suspension. The car is finished in Chevrolet Mariner Blue over white leather upholstery and is further equipped with a single Weber carburetor, finned front drum brakes, Koni shocks, and 15â³ aluminum wheels. The body left the factory finished in Blu Tornado (319), and it was stripped and repainted in Chevrolet Mariner Blue as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. The right rocker panel, rear valance, and quarter panels were replaced at that time. The 15â³ aluminum wheels wear Campagnolo decals and are mounted with 155-series Pirelli Cinturato tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes, and the fronts are equipped with finned-aluminum drums. Koni shocks have been installed at all four corners, and other components replaced as part of the prior refurbishment include the shock mounts, tie rod ends, upper ball joints, and wheel bearings along with various bushings and brake components. The cabin houses rebuilt low-back seats trimmed in white leather as well as color-coordinated door panels and blue carpets.
