Work included rebuilding rust remediation, repainting the body in Gazelle Beige, reupholstering the interior in copper red and brown upholstery, and overhauling the suspension and brake systems. Additionally, the air-cooled flat-four was modified to displace 1,395cc by fitting 69. 5mm crankshaft and 80mm pistons and cylinders in addition to Okrasa-style dual-port cylinder heads, an Okrasa-specification camshaft, a Hengst cartridge-style oil filter, Dual Solex 32 PBIC carburetors, and Knecht air filters. The headlight rings were re-chromed and stainless steel reproduction bumpers have been installed along with replacement seals and gaskets. Additional exterior details include dual side-view mirrors, pop-out rear quarter windows, and dual “pea shooter” exhaust outlets. Steel 15″ wheels wear re-chromed VW-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with 165-series Firestone F-560 tires. The spindles were rebuilt and the shocks, tie rod ends, and steering damper were replaced in addition to the brake lines, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders as part of the refurbishment. The doors do not lock and the horn is inoperative. The refurbished two-spoke steering wheel wears a Wolfsburg crest horn button and fronts a 90-mph VDO speedometer and an ISP West tachometer. True mileage is unknown.
