Finished in Royal Blue over gray vinyl, the car is equipped with a replacement black convertible top, a top boot, chrome bumpers, front disc brakes, 13″ steel wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an AM/FM radio, and a heater. The Spitfire was introduced in 1962 with production running through 1980, and the Mk III was offered between 1967 and 1970. Other equipment includes a top boot, a driver-side mirror, and chrome bumpers. The 13″ steel wheels are mounted with 155/80 Kumho Solus TA11 tires. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The cabin features bucket seats that have been retrimmed in gray vinyl that is complemented by color-coordinated door panels and black carpets. Amenities include a solid-state AM/FM radio and a heater. The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The 1,296cc inline-four was factory rated at 68 horsepower and 73 lb-ft of torque and was refreshed in 2018 with a replacement timing chain, tensioner, gaskets, water pump, and main and rod bearings as well as an overhauled carburetor. The fuel tank was also replaced in 2018.
