This 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider underwent a refurbishment some time ago, and it is powered by a 1,290cc DOHC inline-four fitted with a Veloce-style dual-carburetor induction setup. The car is finished in red over black and features a four-speed manual transmission, four-wheel finned drum brakes, 15” steel wheels, a black convertible top, and a Blaupunkt radio. The Giulietta debuted in Sprint coupe form in 1954 and was joined in 1955 by the Berlina sedan, followed in mid-1955 by the Pinin Farina–styled Spider convertible. Production of the Giulietta Spider continued with the longer-wheelbase Tipo 101 between 1959 and 1962. The silver-painted 15″ steel wheels wear bright hubcaps and are wrapped in 155R15 Michelin X tires, while a spare wearing non-matching rubber is secured behind the seats. Stopping is handled by finned aluminum drums at each corner with duplex actuation at the front wheels. Suspension incorporates an independent front setup and a solid rear axle with coilover shock absorbers all around. The cabin houses bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl, while matching upholstery accents the door panels, upper dash, and rear side panels. Additional features include red carpeting, black rubber floor mats, lap belts, roll-up windows, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a lockable glovebox, and a Blaupunkt multiband radio.
