Work performed in 2023 involved rebuilding the carburetor, resealing the transmission and transfer case, replacing the fuel pump, radiator, and shocks, and reupholstering the bench seat in silver vinyl. Additional equipment includes 15â³ steel wheels, Warn manually locking front hubs, KYB shocks, a removable hardtop, a cabin heater, and PerTronix ignition. Features include a removable hardtop, steel bumpers, and a single exhaust outlet. Steel 15â³ wheels with chrome hubcaps are mounted with 205/75 National XT3000 thin whitewall tires, and a spare is mounted in the rear cargo area. The front axle is equipped with Warn manually locking front hubs, and KYB shock absorbers were installed and the rear leaf springs were re-arched in 2023. Braking is provided by unassisted drums at all four corners. The suspension leans to one side, and the rear brake line leaks. Rubberized flooring from Dennis Carpenter lines the floorboards, and lap belts, a heater, and a locking glove compartment are fitted. Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer, a factory-style tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The self-cancelling turn signal functionality is inoperative.
