This 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis sedan reportedly was retained by a Lincoln-Mercury dealer principal after the dealership closed, and it subsequently spent time in a private collection before being acquired by the selling dealer. Now showing 153 miles, the car is powered by an optional 460ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Dove Grey over color-coordinated cloth upholstery. A Dove Grey full vinyl roof is fitted along with 15″ forged aluminum wheels, a power-adjustable driver seat, power windows and locks, cruise control, an electric rear-window defroster, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo with a tape player. The car is finished in Dove Grey with a matching vinyl full roof and hidden headlights. The car was optioned with the Bumper Protection Group, the Visibility Light Group, and the Appearance Protection Group along with intermittent wipers, a rear-window defroster, and a power antenna. Optional 15″ forged-aluminum wheels are mounted with Firestone Steel Radial 721 narrow-whitewall tires. Power steering and power-assisted front disc brakes were standard equipment.
