The project involved retrofitting a Ram Jet 350ci crate engine, a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, and a replacement 4×4 drivetrain with a 3. 81:1 transfer case, ARB air lockers, and 4. 88:1 differentials. The truck also features four-wheel disc brakes, 37″ Toyo tires, redundant fuse blocks, a tubular front bumper with a Ramsey 9,000-lb winch, and a rear bumper with a swing-away tire carrier and LED lighting. Areas including factory mount points for the indicator lights, hood latches, and windshield bumpers were filled and welded during the project, and the truck was refinished in red in 2023. The frame was also refinished; the windshield was replaced; the rear doors were repaired; the firewall and underside were coated black; and the headlight bezel, grille, rocker steps, and hinges were powder-coated. Method 17″ wheels are mounted with 37×12. 50″ Toyo Open Country M/T tires. Additional equipment includes Warn manually locking front hubs, McBride’s leaf springs, and Bilstein B8 5125 shock absorbers. Replacement power steering components and bushings were fitted during the project, as well.
