Subsequent refurbishment work performed since 2023 has involved a repaint, a rebuild of the rear axle, and a tune-up. The car is finished in silver and features SS badging, hood louvers, and fender vents. Inside, the bench seats are trimmed in black vinyl with patterned inserts and are accompanied by an SS-branded steering wheel, a floor-mounted Hurst shifter, and an aftermarket stereo. The engine is fitted with a Holley carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, and finned valve covers along with four-into-one headers flowing into a custom dual exhaust system. Shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission, and further equipment includes a Positraction limited-slip differential, power-assisted front disc brakes, and 17” Magnum 500–style wheels. The car was finished from the factory in Cortez Silver (69) and was repainted as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. The 17” Magnum 500–style wheels feature polished accents as well as black insets and are mounted with 225/50 front and 245/50 Westlake Sa-07 tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs paired with rear drums. The cabin houses bench seating upholstered in black vinyl with patterned inserts accompanied by a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. An aftermarket stereo has been added, and further amenities include a heater, front vent windows, and lap belts.
