This 1992 Porsche 968 is the only US-market cabriolet that was specified in Rubystone Red, and it spent time in Florida until it was relocated to Belgium in November 1995. It now shows 24k miles, and recommissioning work within the last year has included fluids services and replacing the timing belt, balance shaft belt, battery, accessory belts, spark plugs and tires. Power is from a 3. 0-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed Tiptronic transaxle, and the Light Grey and Magenta partial leather interior features a fully power-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Additional equipment includes 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels and a Magenta convertible soft top. The car is the only North American-market 968 Cabriolet finished from the factory in Rubystone Red (L82N), and it was repainted within the last two years, reportedly to correct scratches accrued during storage. It features a magenta convertible soft top, pop-up headlights, fog lights, body-color mirror caps, and black bumperettes. The left mirror power adjustment does not work. The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Yokohama Advan Fleva tires that show date codes from 2023. Stopping power is provided by four-piston calipers over vented discs at each corner, and ABS was standard.
