Power is sent to the rear wheels through a modified TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a 9â³ rear end with a limited-slip differential, Strange axles, and 4. 11:1 gears. Finished in blue and silver, the car rides on a modified suspension with tubular control arms, QA1 shocks, Hotchkis subframe connectors, and traction bars, and the 15â³ drag wheels and Mickey Thompson tires are fitted over four-wheel disc brakes. The cabin is fitted with a roll cage, two racing buckets, safety harnesses, AutoMeter instrumentation, an aftermarket switch panel, and a B&M shifter. The car was repainted in the current metallic blue and silver paint scheme during the refurbishment, and it is equipped with a lift-off hood, an SS-style grille and taillight panel, chrome bumpers, tinted windows, and red pinstriping around the silver stripe. Polished five-spoke wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson drag tires, and the rears are secured with beadlock rings. The suspension has been modified with traction bars, QA1 shocks, and a tubular crossmember with a driveshaft safety loop along with Hotchkis subframe connectors and tubular front control arms. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs with Wilwood front calipers. The racing bucket seats wear black cloth covers and five-point safety harnesses, and a modified rear bulkhead is fitted in place of the rear bench. A roll cage is installed, and a Painless Performance switch and fuse panel is fitted ahead of the B&M shifter.
