This 1979 Ford F-150 Custom has been repainted black and is powered by an overbored 460ci V8 fitted with D0VE cylinder heads as well as a Weiand intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and a custom-fabricated exhaust system. The drivetrain is completed by a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a Detroit Truetrac limited-slip rear differential, and the truck has been further modified with Wild Horse front coil springs, Deaver rear leaf springs, 16″ eight-hole alloy wheels, and a gray cloth split bench seat sourced from a 1990s-era Ford. Additional equipment includes manually locking front hubs, power steering, chrome bumpers, a receiver hitch, power-operated locks, and a cabin heater. Additional exterior details include low-mount chrome mirrors, side steps, a spray-on cargo bed liner, a chrome rear step bumper, and a receiver hitch accompanied by both four- and seven-pin trailer hookups. . Wild Horse front coil springs and Deaver rear leaf springs were also installed, and they provide approximately 4″ of suspension lift. The truck is equipped with power steering and manually locking front hubs as well as power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The parking brake is not connected. A split bench seat sourced from a 1990s-era Ford has been installed, and it is upholstered in patterned gray cloth. The carpeting, door panel inserts, and dash pad have been replaced, and the interior is further appointed with a heater, power locks, and crank-operated windows.
