The car is powered by an air-cooled 1. 6L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle and is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, dual side-view mirrors, pop-out rear quarter windows, woodgrain dashboard trim, and a retro-style radio with Bluetooth capability. The car is finished in red and features dual-side mirrors, pop-out rear quarter windows, a vented decklid, and chrome bumpers with overriders. Steel 15″ wheels wear chrome VW-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with 165/80 Kumho tires. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The ball joints and tie rod ends were replaced in 2024. The interior has been refurbished with a replacement dashboard, black vinyl seat covers,  gray carpeting, and miscellaneous trim. Sound deadening material was also reportedly installed. Additional interior elements include woodgrain dashboard trim, hand-crank windows, and a Bluetooth-capable retro-style radio linked to speakers in the kick panels and an auxiliary port in the lockable glove compartment, which also hosts a USB port.
