Work involved a repaint in metallic blue, an interior re-trim in brown leather, and rebuilds of the 2. 3-liter inline-four and five-speed manual transaxle. The car rides on a hydropneumatic suspension and is further equipped with 15″ steel wheels, inboard front disc brakes, swiveling headlights, a Phillips radio, and a Weber carburetor. Robert Opron styled the third iteration of the Citroën DS/ID front bodywork, which incorporates swiveling headlights with glass covers. Details include Pallas side trim and badging as well as dual side mirrors and stainless-steel bumpers with rubber guards. The 15″ steel wheels wear stainless-steel covers and are wrapped in Michelin XVS-P tires. A high-pressure central hydraulic system serves the self-leveling, height-adjustable suspension and also provides assistance to the steering and braking systems. The brake “button” on this model proportions stopping power between the inboard-mounted front discs and rear drums. The front bucket seats, rear bench, and door panels have been re-covered in brown leather and are accompanied by a replacement headliner and carpets.
