This 1960 Chevrolet El Camino was built in Los Angeles and has remained on the West Coast since, and it was refurbished and modified between 2011 and 2013. The body was repainted Butternut Yellow and white, the interior was retrimmed with black and white upholstery, and a built 327ci V8 and a four-speed Super T-10 manual transmission were installed. The truck also has a Positraction rear end, a Proform 600-cfm carburetor, a Milodon oil pan, MagnaFlow mufflers, double-staggered American Salt Flat wheels, lowered suspension, front disc brakes, power steering, and air conditioning. It was then painted Butternut Yellow with white accents. Weather seals, trim items, and lenses were refurbished or replaced as part of the process. The inner headlights have been removed and replaced with intake ducting for the engine. The bed and tailgate are lined with custom-fitted metal liners finished in gloss silver. 2″ drop spindles and tubular control arms were installed up front along with a CPP 500 Series power steering box, a sway bar, and disc brakes. The Positraction 4. 11 rear axle has adjustable overrider suspension bars and an adjustable Panhard rod.
