The pickup was refinished in metallic pewter circa 2004 and features bright trim, chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, a rubber bed mat, and dual exhaust exits with polished slash-cut finishers. Chrome-plated 18″ IROC Z-style alloy wheels are mounted with older Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Appointments include power windows, carpeted floor mats, and a fold-down center armrest. The air conditioning system would benefit from recharging the refrigerant and the alarm and custom Pioneer CD/cassette stereo are currently disconnected due to a slow electrical draw. The three-spoke billet aluminum steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and supplementary gauges for fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The Carfax report notes a potential odometer rollover in August 1997 and a mileage inconsistency in June 2005. The 350ci V8 crate engine was installed in 2003 and features an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and a polished alternator, air cleaner cover, and valve covers.
