An extensive, rotisserie restoration was performed in the late 1990’s and the exterior was later refinished in 2011, and with in the past 6 years both the soft-top and Parchment White interior have been reupholstered. The 1. 9 liter SOHC four-cylinder was rebuilt during the restoration and is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The Fire Engine Red Exterior (DB534) matches the paint tag on the firewall and the exterior and door jambs were refinished in 2011 by Paramount Autobody. Body panel gaps and paint show to a high standard. The car was disassembled and a full rotisserie restoration was performed in the late 1990’s. New rubber seals have been installed throughout and the original black soft-top was reupholstered in 2016. The Parchment interior was redone in 2012 and like rest of the car, all surfaces, contact points, and gauges were addressed. Weber carburetors have been installed in place of the original Solex 44PHH units and reportedly improve drivability and performance. Receipts from the restoration show that the fuel system, radiator, generator, and clutch have either been overhauled or replaced.
