Year:1965 Make:Pontiac Model:GTO Mileage:2500 1965 Pontiac GTO Tempest RestoMod.  A frame-off restoration approximately 5 years ago.  Interior/Exterior/Underside components have either been replaced, renewed, rebuilt, or refurbished.  Final mechanical/electrical work performed by a local Performance Auto Repair Shop. The 400 ci motor is from a 1971 GTO, with 0.30 over pistons and is fed by a 750 Holley carburetor, AL radiator cooled by double fans, with Vintage AC and slim under-dash vents.  Power transfer is by a 4 spd Muncie, linked to a Hurst shifter, then to a Moser 342 posi rear end.  3" exhaust pipes provide amplification of sound from two Flow Master mufflers.  Stopping power is provided by disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear.  Wheels are 17" 5-spoke Ridlers.  Some flaws in the paint and body work but the otherwise glossy red paint is a real head-turner. The interior sports new carpets, Pontiac type seats, headliner, and door panels, with dash gauges, all in working condition.
