1949 Chevy 3100I have a 1949 Chevy 3100 with a LS 5.3 V8 engine and a 700r4 automatic transmission. There is no rot on the truck, just the surface rust that you see in the pictures. The only rust repair that was done was a couple small patches in the floor. The cab corners are in great shape with no rust. Truck starts and drives great. I have put 300 miles on it since the build was complete. Below is a list of what all has been done to the truck. List of things done: - S10frame swap (regular cab lwb)- New Ridler Wheels and tires. 18x8 in front, 18x9.5 in the rear- New upper and lower control arms, bushings / ball joints - New brakes and shocks - front disc brakes- Freshly tuned 5.3 LS with a PSI engine wiring harness/ 700r4 transmission- New rear mounted fuel tank and electric fuel pump- New Dolphin gauges / new EZ wiring harness / tilt wheel - Power steering and power brakes - Newbuild that was finished a few months ago, truck has roughly 300 miles on it- All gauges work as they shouldTruck Needs:- Seat bolted down (seat is from a 2002 Durango)- Seatbelts installed - Wipers wired up- Window regulators, the ones on it still roll up and down but they are old and could really use new ones along with the window seals. - Needs front blinkers installed (rear blinkers work as they should) The truck runs and drives excellent around town or down the highway.
