1955 Jaguar XK140 DHC MC , The original color combination was black with red interior wire wheels with MC head and overdrive. The car was shipped to Los Angeles when new and has spent 95% of its life in California. I purchased the car about 5 years ago with intentions of building it as a slightly modified touring car. It was missing the powertrain when I bought it s my plan was to do a 3.8 MKIX block with a Ctype head , 2' SU carbs and a 5 speed gearbox. The car currently has 3.8 block that turns easily and is in very good condition , the cylinder head is an original C head very close to the original and has an earlier JL gearbox. The Chassis is rock solid with no rust and the body has very minimal rust areas but will need sills and small areas of rust repair. Overall a great car to start with
