This 1953 Ford F100 is a modified vehicle with updates to the interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for car shows. Vehicle Details Very Cool 1953 F100 Pickup! Runs & Drives and Shows Great! This truck has had many modifications to the drivetrain, interior and steering. It is drivable, however, I am listing it AS-IS with Restoration recommended. Somebody installed a GM steering column with a small steering wheel. It does NOT handle well and is very difficult to steer at slow speed (even with the power steering). Many of the modifications should be carefully looked over and repaired by your own qualified technician before assuming it to be “road worthy”. It’s what I would consider to be an excellent candidate for a Mustang II front end and a mini restoration. It’s got a 350chevy engine in it that runs very well, an automatic transmission and a DANA rear. The Interior is comfortable. None of the gauges work. Some of the wiring could use a clean up. There is very little / no rust and a decent paint job. The body is nice with very little repair necessary. It shows well but is far from flawless. It should be put back in a garage and owned by someone mechanically inclined.
