This '48 Ford F1 is a gorgeous street truck with all of the classic good looks and lines of an original, blended with modern conveniences and handling/performance upgrades. One click of a button and the hood releases, tilting forward to reveal what's really hiding within this beast! The chassis was refabricated to incorporate a modern Mustang II IFS front suspension with rack & pinion steering and front power disc brakes (rear drums). The rear suspension is a 4-link and the rear differential is a 9" Ford with limited slip. The custom built front clip on this truck tilts forward 90 degrees for access to the 302 V8 ford with Weiand dual top tunnel ram (2 Edelbrock carbs) and tons of chrome. An electric fan works in conjunction with the radiator to keep this beast cool and the A/C system works to keep YOU cool (needs a recharge).
