The inspiration for the CRC Corvette began in the garage of Doug Graf, president and owner of CRC. This whole CRCoachworks business began quite by accident while Doug was working on his hobby back in 1993. That’s when the first concept CRC was built on a 1993 Anniversary Corvette chassis. But that first car was different because Doug modified that 1993 chassis to fit the stock ’62 body. After a 3+ year design process, Doug finished the car. Going to car shows up and down the West Coast just for fun and a little vacation time, Doug and Carolyn stumbled onto a business idea that was not at all common at the time.
