The frame is tubular steel, rectangular for the main side rails, front, rear and intermediate rails and reinforced with 1 ½ inch round steel pipe intended for use in aircraft around the cockpit area, extending to the front of the side rails. The car is perfectly balanced front to rear, and has a total weight of 2,450 pounds. No expense was spared in its construction.
