1957 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster convertible restomod. Stored in doors and only driven on nice summer days, this vette is in beautiful condition. This Corvette is not your grand paps Corvette. The entire drive line is all new with almost no miles and comes with pages and pages of receipts from the work done. Over 50k was put into it alone. It has a 383 stroker motor (completely rebuilt) with fuel injection. The motor is backed by a 5 speed Tremec transmission which makes highway cruising possible. And all the power is delivered to the ground via a Mosher rear end posi with 3:91 gears. The car has been dyno tuned and is pumping out 450 HP to the wheels with 400 foot pounds of torque. Dyno sheet comes with all the other paperwork. The fiberglass body is un-hit and un-patched. Everything opens and closes perfectly and the birdcage is in perfect shape. The vette rides on its original, un-cut and un-patched frame, the underneath is beautiful (see pictures). The paint is beautiful nice and flat with a deep shine, no orange peal. There is a couple minor imperfections such as checking on the driver fender (very small) and a small scratch or two but they don't take away from how beautiful the car is. Mind you, these are all minor and do NOT take away from how presentable it is. All the chrome and stainless are in beautiful condition, no scratches, pitting or any type of hazing. All the glass is in excellent shape with no scratches or chips. The windows go up and down with ease. The convertible soft top was new 2 years ago and in excellent shape, no punctures and no staining. The hard top is also in beautiful shape but does have some checking on the top. You really need to get close to see it but it is there. The wheels and tires are all new and in excellent shape. The interior is a 9.8 out of a 10 and in beautiful shape, no rips cracks or any grime, super clean. The carpet, door panels and everything else are in beautiful condition. Not much to really say about the interior except the fact that it is in beautiful condition. The 383 stroker motor runs absolutely beautifully. The fuel injection makes starting a breeze, no pumping or choking just turn the key and it fires right up with out issue, no smoke, ticks or any weird noises (again motor is completely rebuilt with paperwork). It will run nice and cool around 160-180 degrees even on the hot summer days sitting in traffic due to the over sized aluminum radiator. The Tremec 5 speed manual transmission makes this car an absolute delight to drive. You can buzz around town and if need be, jump on the highway and cruise in 5th gear. The gearbox has a nice tight gear placement and has no slop, it also has a nice short throw in between gears. The clutch has a perfect grabbing point with no shakes or slipping while driving. Going down the road this vette drives like it is brand new. It drives straight down the road with no vibrations or steering slop. This car is not for the faint at heart, it is an absolute monster with absurd power.
