1969 Chevelle Malibu decontented like a COPO. This car was built from a clean Malibu body, and has new front fenders and inner fenders, and new bumpers and exterior trim, as well as new door glass and windshield. The paint is base/clear in the original Glacier Blue, with a few small chips from being driven. The trunk is refinished with new spatter paint, and a new spare 235-60-15 Cooper Cobra tire on a matching 15x7 steel rim. The interior is all new, with a seldom seen cloth bench seat with new covers, carpet, dash, package tray, headliner and door panels. There is a sprot wheel with leather cover, a Hurst Dual Gate his and hers shifter, and aftermarket gauges, including a Shiftworks tach in the factory clock location. The driver and passenger seats have a 3 point modern style seabelt. This is a factory a/c car, and it is all present and working, and blows ice cold with R3134A. The entire a/c system is new, and calibrated for R134A. No radio in this car, just a factory blockoff plate. Under the hood is a 1970 396/350hp CE engine, standard bore, The cam is a Lunati Bracketmaster II 292 Hydraulic Flat Tappet. Strong mid range torque and HP. Needs 2000-2500 RPM stall converter, headers, 9.5:1 compression ratio. Lopey idle. There is a driveshaft loop installed. The rear gear ratio is a 3.31:1 with a Powertrax locker. Exhaust is a set of factory iron manifolds with a 2.5" system all the way back with turbo mufflers. It sound slike 1969! Rolling stock is 225-70-15 Cooper Cobra tire on the front with 15x7 wheels, and 255-60-15 on the rear with 185x8 wheels. Front brakes and factory discs, and drums on the rear. The entire brake system is new.
