If you're looking for a super nice, rust free, well built classic Jeep CJ7 you found it. This Jeep checks all the boxes if you're looking for true Jeep style, build quality, reliability as well as driveability. Jeep has been a 3 plus year on going build from start to finish. Cost of Jeep as a started rust free project was 8,000 and tow it home. Cost of parts installed in and under this Jeep to finish project correct was just another 8,000. That 16,000 invested with out adding labor time to put it all together and set it up. A few details on build: The rust free body was painted in a khaki tan, some call it desert sand. It's a flat type paint finish,me as you would see on maybe a military type vehicle. No waxing required. ( Dawn soap and water cleans it up nice.) The prior owner had the outside body painted at start of project. Me and many others Jeep 4x4 friends really like the look of this CJ. It's simple and easy to clean up. Many new parts installed on outside body to finish the look. New window glass, window rubber, frame rubbers, New outside body lighting, Poison Spider hood vent, front radiator bug shield, winch mounting bracket, hood hardware, logos and so on. SEE PHOTOS. I gutted the inside to bare metal, cleaned and re sealed in a raptor armor spray gun finish. Not rattle can or paint roller. It's water proof, rust proof and won't scuff. Then newer seats, new locking console, new Best Top super top, stereo & speaker's, dash gauges, fuel, oil, volt installed. Jeep also fitted with a new Painless wiring harness. All new wiring front to rear. (No electrical Issues). Heater works great. New wiper motor & dash control panel levers and much more. It's a factory power steering and power disc brake CJ. It has a tilt wheel, 5 speed manual transmission so you can drive at higher higher speeds and keep the RPM down. The 4.2 Jeep motor, transmission and clutch have just under 10,000 driven miles on them today. Odometer still works and shows 105,114 miles. Being a 34 year old classic the power robbing smog air pump and 20 feet of vacuum lines removed from under the hood. Jeep retains its cat converter. This motor now runs outstanding. Motor also upgraded to the better HEI Distributor and Carter Carburetor. Purrs like a cat! Jeep has a Dana 30 front end with locking hubs. Dana 300 4x4 transfer case, Jeep AMC 20 rear end. Rear end also fitted with new axles and many other parts in build. Jeep fitted with a Pro Comp 3 1/2 inch spring suspension lift and new shocks. Not cheep body spacers or axle over lift. Jeep fitted with new 33 tall by 12.5 General tires mounted on 15 inch black steel wheels.
