Available to add to your collection is an excellent condition and nicely optioned 1970 Metuchen built Boss 302. It is an older restoration, and is listed in the Boss 302 Registry (Y2K shown). It is a black standard interior car, originally sold in Connecticut. It has all the key Boss 302 parts, including a correct carb, distributor, Carter X-Pump, correct but non-functional smog equipment, and the quirky “Fireing Order” intake manifold. It also has a correct DOZF radiator. The car has had an oil cooler and shaker set up added. The shaker is a correct Boss 302 shaker, and the oil cooler and lines are believed Ford original as well. The interior features a factory tach and rectangular clock, as well as an AM/FM stereo in place of the original Am/8 Track radio. The instrument bezels have been rechromed, and are bright. The rear seat is the original fold down. The car also came with Sports Slats and Magnum 500’s, setting off the Medium Blue Metallic paint. The power brake booster has a leak, limiting driveability at the moment. The engine and tranny were rebuilt in 2004. She is a fine example of height of the “race it on Sunday, sell it on Monday” philosophy, and is a blast to drive, especially when the rev’s break 3000!
