A refurbishment in 2014 included a repaint in maroon, an overhaul of the black interior, and a reported rebuild of the 327ci V8. The car has been fitted with a floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission, a Positraction differential, an Edelbrock intake and carburetor, exhaust cutouts, an aluminum radiator, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, and a glovebox-mounted Alpine stereo. Originally Regal Red, the car was repainted Madeira Maroon during the 2014 refurbishment and is equipped with bright trim, a fender-mounted antenna, and chrome-finished bumpers. There is a dent in the trunk lid. The weatherstripping was replaced during the 2014 project. The 15â³ Rally-style steel wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 235/60. Air conditioning has been added along with a glovebox-mounted Alpine stereo and a floor shifter. Replacement parts include the sun visors, sail panels, carpets, and door panels. The factory AM radio is retained in the dash, which also features walnut inlays. Bubbles are noted on the rear shelf vinyl.
