This 912 was last running in 2009, when the clutch went out. Prior to that it was running well and driven regularly. The clutch, rust and adverse effects of sitting for 15 years are the main issues I am aware of. It has been garaged for most of the past 15 years.Obvious surface rust as pictures show, but in most of the spots checked the rust does not appear to go deep or through the metal (see comparison photos). There are some holes rusted through at the front where the trunk closes and underneath the battery compartment is rusted out. Undercoating is flaking off the pan and there are some spots of road damage and penetrating rust as pictured, but for the most part the pan is solid.  The windshield and left rear tail light are cracked.I purchased the car in 1995 and am the third owner. The original color was Irish Green and the second owner had it painted this white color sometime in the 1980s, I believe.  Presumably at that point, the PORSCHE letters across the back were removed and the holes filled in. Odometer reads 79882.
