I purchased it from Little Rock, Arkansas. After pulling it out of the yard, I went through the fuel and brake systems. Then I drove it almost daily for 3 years. The truck was originally a 345 c.i. but the original engine spun a cam bearing after 2 years of driving it. That inadvertently began a frame off restoration. The Scout has been completely restored. Below are the detailsEngine:International 392 c.i. V8 out of a late model 1200 4x4 International pickup. Engine has improved cooling. It was completely torn down and rebuilt. The engine is .010 over with all new bearings, seals and gaskets. It has a steal 4 bbl intake manifold that has been fitted with Howell TBI Fuel Injection. The Exhaust system has Thermal coated headers and a true 1 1/2" exhaust system with dual Flow Master mufflers and chrome exhaust tips. The cooling system is all new with an aluminum radiator, new water pump, thermostat, belts, hoses and heater core. IT runs really great, starts every time and is reliable.
