This 1970 Pontiac GTO is a must-have for any car enthusiast. It is a real deal 242! Body: This isn’t a show car but definitely turns heads wherever you drive it. It was painted pepper green years ago and shows well but if you desire paint it back to original. Zero rust anywhere ….. Enduro bumper is in good shape along with all the body panels and doors. it had floor pans put on a while ago. Shows great from 10 ft…. Interior: As you can see from the pics, it is in really good shape. Headliner, seats, dash, console etc…. The carpet is faded in some places. Motor: Built 455. .30 over, Kauffman D-port aluminum heads, Rhodes lifters, comp cam .488/.491, ram air 3 exhaust manifolds. I will tell you this is the strongest 455 I have ever driven. It will absolutely roast the tires in any gear and throw you in the back seat or cruise down the road. I’m not sure of the horsepower and torque but it feels over 400hp and way over 500 ft lbs of torque…. Exhaust is new with great sound. The ram air set up was done years ago as well. Looks really nice.Transmission: built turbo 400. Not sure on the stall… it was built right and will burn the tires in every gear.Rear end. 355 posi Richmond gearsBrakes and shocks as well as suspension is in great shape and needs nothing. It tracks straight down the road and stops true.Â
