This must be one of the most original Kaiser Darrins left on the planet. One of only 435 Darrin's ever built. These are very unique cars with a fiberglass body and doors that slide inside the front fenders. It is powered by 6 cylinder engine backed up by a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. This car still has its original interior (driver's floor carpet has been replaced) which is in excellent condition for its age. There are no tears or rips in the upholstery and the carpet still shows very well. The original top and side curtains are still usable but definitely have the patina you would expect with the age of the car. The trunk still has its original carpet and in good condition along with the original spare tire, hardware and spare tire cover. The frame is excellent and the body is good for a 70 year-old unrestored fiberglass car. The hood, doors, trunk lid and convertible top hatch all open and close nicely. The engine runs well and the car is drivable, but a new set of tires should make a major improvement in the handling. All of the gages are original and function properly. The engine runs cool and has excellent oil pressure.
