1954 Buick Special 2 door Hard top with the 264 cu in V8 2bbl carb and slandered transmission, that is beautifully done. The car got a frame off and rotisserie restoration. (The car looks new) The car was originally sold new in Emporia Kansas at Newton Bros. The restoration was completed in California in 2003, and the car was put in a showroom for several years. The car was taken apart for the restoration and meticulously reassembled. The bottom side of the car looks better than when new. (pleas look at all pictures closely) The Paint is in its original colors and very well done. All bright work was re-chromed and all stainless was polished. The interior looks amazing, just like a new car would. Bright dash and interments with beautiful upholstery throughout. All lights, gages, wipers, heater and everything else works as they should. The engine was also rebuilt, but my owner after driving the car for several hundred miles started to hear an engine noise. It does have good oil pressure, and he had it checked, by our engine shop. The mechanic thinks that a lifter is bad. The right bank rocker assembly may not be getting sufficient oil to the top of the assembly, but we are not sure. The car runs but you can hear the lifters a little.
