This 1987 BMW 535i is powered by an M30B34 inline-six that has been overbored to displace approximately 3. 7 liters and fitted with a Turner Motorsports ECU tuning chip, a Shrick camshaft, and a European-specification cylinder head. Shifting is through a five-speed manual transmission linked to a limited-slip differential, and the car has been fitted with Racing Dynamics front and rear lower valances, badging, and anti-roll bars as well as a front strut tower brace, steering wheel, and shift knob. Additional modifications include a Supersprint exhaust system, BBS 17â³ wheels, H&R lowering springs, Bilstein shocks, and European-specification headlight assemblies. Finished in Cirrus Blue Metallic over Pacific Blue leather, the car is also equipped with a power sunroof, fog lights, power-adjustable front bucket seats, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. The car left the factory finished in Cirrus Blue Metallic (189), and it was repainted circa 1999. Racing Dynamics front and rear lower valances were installed in the late 1990s along with a decklid spoiler, side skirts, and badging. Scrapes are visible on the front lip, and other blemishes on various body panels are shown up close in the gallery. Silver-finished 17â³ BBS RK wheels are secured to the hubs with lug nuts featuring embossed Racing Dynamics logos. A non-matching full-size spare resides in the trunk.
