This 1968 Ford Mustang fastback has been modified in the style of the car used by Steve McQueen’s character in the movie Bullitt. The body was repainted in Highland Green and debadged, and 15″ Torq Thrust wheels were installed along with Flowmaster exhaust system, a 600-cfm carburetor, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. It is powered by a 302ci V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission, and it also has an MP3 player, a vented hood, and Grab-A-Trak suspension components. The car was delivered in Meadowlark Yellow, and it has been repainted Highland Green to mimic the Bullitt Mustang. The 15″ Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Grab-A-Trak coil springs and shocks have been added. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl, and appointments include a center console, a Philco AM radio, and an MP3 player. The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. The 302ci V8 was factory rated at 230 horsepower. A 600-cfm carburetor and Flowmaster dual exhaust system have been installed.
