This 1931 Ford Model A was modified over the course of several years starting in 2009 with a 350ci Chevrolet V8 linked to a GM four-speed automatic transmission. Other work included installing a replacement frame in addition to refinishing the steel coupe body in red over white leather upholstery. Additional equipment includes a single Holley carburetor, a chopped top, an extended hood, US Wheels 15″ chrome wheels, shaved door handles, dual side mirrors, and power windows. The steel body was painted metallic red with gold pinstripes in 2018, and it features a chopped roof as well as an extended hood and a 1932-style grille shell. Other exterior details include shaved door handles, a windshield visor, ’49 Mercury-style taillights, an electric windshield wiper, a power antenna, and dual side mirrors. The US Wheels 15″ chrome wheels are mounted with Hoosier Pro Street tires measuring 26×7. 5″ up front and 29×12. 5″ out back. Braking is provided by four-wheel drums, and the steering rack is equipped with a Sniper 1:2 ratio quickener. The car rides on a four-link rear suspension and incorporates a drilled I-beam as well as chrome hairpins and adjustable shocks up front.
