Work performed included a repaint in burgundy, reupholstering the competition seats in beige, and installing an 1,800cc inline-four and five-speed manual transmission sourced from an MGB. Equipment includes side mirrors, crank windows, Minilite-style wheels, an aluminum radiator, front disc brakes, air conditioning, and a Bluetooth stereo. The car was repainted in its current shade of burgundy in 2017, and exterior equipment includes a bright body-contour grille, driving lights, side mirrors, and bright front and rear bumpers with bumperettes. The Minilite-style wheels and 175/70 Vredestein tires were installed in 2019. The car is equipped with an independent front suspension with coil springs and hydraulic dampers as well as a rack-and-pinion steering system. Stopping power is provided by MGB front disc and rear drum brakes. The competition bucket seats were reupholstered in beige and are accented by a color-coordinated center armrest and door panels. Interior appointments include crank windows, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, a Bluetooth stereo, a rear parcel shelf, and air conditioning. Koolmat heat insulating material has been installed beneath the carpets. The four-spoke banjo-style steering wheel is mounted to an adjustable steering column and fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel, oil pressure, and coolant temperature.
