This 1991 Ford F-350 Custom was purchased new by the Elk Creek Fire Protection District of California and remained in service until January 2024. Finished in red with gold-tone decals, the truck now shows 20k miles and is powered by a 7. 5-liter V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Firefighting equipment includes a steel fire-service body with louvered hose beds and six storage cabinets as well as a Waterous water pump powered by a Briggs & Stratton opposed-twin, an approximately 350-gallon water tank, and two Hanney power-retracting hose reels. The truck is further equipped with a Ramsey front bumper and winch, 16″ steel wheels, manually locking front hubs, a cab heater, and a bench seat upholstered in tan vinyl. The truck left the factory in a chassis-cab configuration and is finished in red with gold-tone decals. Before delivery to the Elk Creek Fire Protection District, the truck was fitted with a Ramsey winch and front bumper as well as a steel fire-service body with six double-walled storage cabinets, two louvered hose beds, and two additional hose retainers on the left. Additional exterior details include a chrome grille insert, clearance lights, front tow hooks, low-mount swing-away mirrors, mudflaps, and a diamond-plate rear step bumper.
