Replacement and re-chromed trim components were also installed. Exterior details include chrome bumpers and trim, dual side mirrors, polished exhaust finishers, a power antenna, and a pair of recessed round headlights. The 15″ steel wheels wear wire-spoke covers and are wrapped in 215/70 Firestone FR380 narrow whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and Ford Thunderbird-sourced rear drums. The cabin features Corvette-sourced front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl joined by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, a glovebox-mounted pull-out vanity, woodgrain and chrome trim, an AM radio, lap belts, two fire extinguishers, rubber floor mats, and interior dome lights. The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for temperature, amperage, fuel level, oil pressure, and vacuum pressure.
