The engine was rebuilt, bored 0. 040â³ over, and fitted with PerTronix electronic ignition during this process, which also saw the addition of a Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 14â³ American Racing wheels, front bucket seats, a retrofitted fuel-filler assembly, a dual-exit exhaust system, and an AM radio. The car was finished from the factory in Viking Blue (E), and it was repainted during the refurbishment. Stainless-steel trim components were polished, and chrome elements were re-chromed. The 14â³ American Racing wheels are mounted with Hankook Optimo H724 tires. Braking is handled by drums at all four corners. The steering system and suspension were retrofitted during the refurbishment with components from the V8-powered donor car. The cabin was reupholstered approximately eight years ago, and it features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in blue pleated vinyl. The headliner was replaced during the refurbishment, and the carpeting was replaced within the last year.
