Supercharged 1966 Triumph TR4A IRS
Triumph Triumph tr4
Year of issue: 1966

The car was refinished in Signal Red, and its replacement 2,138cc inline-four was rebuilt and fitted with a Moss supercharger. A Moss aluminum head, a Wizard Cooling radiator, and an aluminum flywheel were also installed along with a stainless-steel exhaust system, and the steering and suspension systems were overhauled. The car also has black leather upholstery on the bucket seats, a color-coordinated soft top and tonneau, and 15″ wire wheels, Wilwood front disc brakes, fiddleback walnut dashboard, wool carpeting, and a Lecarra steering wheel. The TR4A was built from 1965 to 1967 and featured a revised grille and a widened chassis compared with earlier TR4 models. The Giovanni Michelotti-designed body has been repainted Signal Red and features a black convertible soft top, a tonneau cover, a Triplex windshield, a driver-side mirror, a flip-up fuel-filler cap, turn signals on the front fender sides, LED tail lights, and chrome bumpers with overriders. There is a dent on the right-front fender. The 15″ wire wheels are mounted with 165/80 Nexen SB802 tires. Wilwood front disc brakes mounted on alloy hubs were installed in 2021, at which time the springs, trailing arm brackets, and bushings were replaced. A replacement steering rack and Good Parts CV axle joints have also been fitted, according to the selling dealer. The cabin houses bucket seats upholstered in black leather with white piping, and interior appointments include a locking glovebox, a cabin heater, seat belts, storage pockets, and a rear parcel shelf.
