The exterior was refinished with red paintwork, a mahogany bed, and chrome trim, and Cragar SS wheels were installed along with 11â³ front disc brakes, an Ididit column, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, and an Alpine stereo. The rear fenders, box, running boards, and floorboards were replaced before the truck was repainted by Color Works Auto Refinishing in Denver, Colorado. The headlights, chrome front bumper, weather seals, and glass were replaced, and the rear bumper is a customized 1978 El Camino component that was narrowed and re-chromed.
