Power is supplied by a 2. 7-liter Maserati V6 fitted with triple Weber carburetors, while shifting is through a five-speed manual transaxle. The car rides on a hydropneumatic suspension and is further equipped with self-centering power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, power windows, an AM/FM stereo, and air conditioning. Custom 17â³ alloy wheels have been added along with an aftermarket anti-sway valve and exhaust headers. Styled by Citroënâs chief designer Robert Opron, the SM debuted in 1970 sporting tapered bodywork with a narrowed rear track and a Kamm tail. It is finished in burgundy and features quad headlights, bright bumpers, and a power antenna. The custom 17â³ alloy wheels are mounted with 225/50 Michelin tires, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner. The car is equipped with self-centering power steering and rides on a self-leveling and height-adjustable hydropneumatic suspension with parallel semi-trailing arms up front and trailing arms out back. An aftermarket anti-sway valve has been added. The suspension height is set with a lever to the left of the driverâs seat, and additional interior appointments include an AM/FM stereo, air conditioning, an electric rear window defroster, and power windows.
