Subsequent work involved overboring and rebuilding the twin-cam inline four to displace 1. 7 liters utilizing a kit from Spruell Motorsport as well as installing a 123Ignition electronic distributor, refurbishing the twin Weber DCOE carburetors, and overhauling the five-speed manual transmission. Finished in red over gray vinyl, the car features a stepped hood and wrap-around bumpers along with ATE disc brakes, Koni shocks, and 14″ GTA-style alloy wheels. Early 105-series Giulias featured a “stepnose” front as well as one-piece wraparound bumpers and lower rear wheel arches than later models. Further details include H4 headlights, metal-base taillights, and chrome window surrounds. The car was factory equipped with an independent double-wishbone setup with an anti-roll bar up front paired with a live-axle, lower trailing arms, and a reaction trunnion out back. The low-back front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in gray vinyl and complemented by a gray crinkle-finished dash. A contrasting ivory headliner is fitted above, while gray carpets line the floors. Further interior appointments include an IPRA heater, an Alfa Romeo–branded radio blockoff plate, and floor-hinged brake and clutch pedals. The washer foot pump is inoperable.
