Modifications include a Ford Motorsport A231 camshaft and âbig valveâ cylinder head as well as a Super Turbo muffler, a Saleen G-bar, subframe connectors, urethane sway bar bushings, an 8. 8â³ rear axle with a Ford Motorsport 3. 73:1 differential. Additional equipment includes 16â³ alloy wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and a Clarion CD stereo. Fordâs Special Vehicle Operations gave the Mustang SVO a biplane rear spoiler and revised front-end styling as well as thinner rocker panels and an offset hood scoop to feed the top-mount intercooler. Exterior blemishes are displayed in the gallery. The 16â³ alloy wheels are mounted with older 225/50 Toyo Proxes tires. The SVO was equipped from the factory with power steering and adjustable Koni dampers.
