The front hood was later repainted and differs in shade from the rest of the car. Features include a driver-side mirror, running boards, vent windows, and chrome bumpers. Body-color 15â³ steel wheels wear bright hubcaps and are mounted with Coker Classic whitewall tires, and a matching spare is retained in the front trunk. The brake shoes and wheel bearings were reportedly replaced in 2018. Instrumentation consists of an 80-mph VDO speedometer. The horn button is a replacement. The 1,192cc flat-four was factory rated at 36 horsepower. Work in 2023 consisted of refurbishing the distributor, carburetor, and intake manifold, which was also ceramic-coated, in addition to replacing the Bosch coil, distributor cap, points, and condenser.
