The car was displayed in the Corvette Americana Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York and later purchased by Mike Yager in July 1998, and it was featured in his publication, Corvette Bible, 2nd Edition. Now indicating 189 miles, it is powered by a 5. 7-liter L98 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and it is equipped with the Z51 Performance Handling Package, 17″ Dymag wheels, a limited-slip differential, and Selective Ride and Handling. It is finished in Bright Red over black cloth, and additional features include a removable roof panel, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a cassette stereo, and air conditioning. The car is finished in Bright Red and features a removable tinted-glass roof panel, pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, quad tail lights, and twin polished exhaust outlets. Silver-finished 17″ Dymag wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle ZR-40 tires. The car is equipped with the Selective Ride and Handling Package which added adjustable dampers as well as the Z51 Performance Handling Package which added heavy-duty springs and stabilizer bars, larger brakes, and a power-steering cooler. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS. The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black cloth, and additional interior appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, a cassette stereo, a Delco sound system, a digital clock, and cruise control. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central digital speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and battery voltage.
